Written in plain English by the DeWallet team. It describes how this site handles your information and is not legal advice.

The short version

You can read every page on DeWallet without giving us anything. The only personal information we store is an email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to the newsletter. We never ask for wallet addresses, seed phrases, identity documents, or payment details, and we don't sell data to anyone.

What we collect

  • Newsletter email address — stored only after you confirm your subscription by clicking the link we email you. Used solely to send the digest you asked for.
  • AI assistant messages — the questions you type are sent to our AI provider to generate an answer. Don't include personal or sensitive details in them, and never include a seed phrase.
  • Basic technical data — our hosting platform processes standard request information such as IP address and browser type to serve pages and block abuse.
  • Admin accounts — if you are a site editor, we store your email address and login credentials with our backend provider.

What we don't collect

  • Seed phrases, private keys, or any wallet credentials — we never ask, ever
  • Wallet addresses or on-chain balances — the site has no wallet connection
  • Payment or card details — the site is free to read

Cookies and analytics

We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels. Essential storage is used to keep an editor signed in to the admin area. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, we'll update this page before switching it on.

Who else processes your data

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site: our hosting and database platform (storing newsletter subscriptions and article content), our email delivery provider (sending confirmations and the digest), and our AI provider (generating assistant answers and draft articles). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Retention and your choices

  • Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you from future sends.
  • To have your email address deleted entirely, write to privacy@dewallet.com and we'll remove it.
  • Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data — the same address handles those requests.

Children

DeWallet is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
